JC Studio Ups Revenues by Latching on to Booming Real Estate Market
Vancouver headlines are unanimous, the city is in the midst of a real
estate explosion and one local clothing designer is riding the wave.
Jacqueline Conoir Collections has increased their earnings 15% since
taking on corporate contracts to design uniform images for real estate
developers such as Polygon Homes, Bosa Properties and Westbank Development,
as well as for hotels and airline teams.
“It isn’t about a uniform, it is about a consolidated
image,” says designer RozeMerie Cuevas. “Real estate agents
already have a stipulated style of dark suits. So, why not have a modern
and collective visual appearance that is an extension of their business
and reflects the quality of their product.”
After being in business for 20 years the Jacqueline Conoir label has
a proven track record. Long known as the queen of the suit, Cuevas’
crisp and modern styling is the perfect fit for companies wanting to
brand an image. And with the pendulum swinging back to a professional
appearance after a decade of casual Fridays, it’s perfect timing
for the designer who was looking to add a corporate angle to an already
thriving business.
“These contracts are important to us. They increase sales and
exposure and it’s flattering to know that we’ve developed
a look that people are comfortable endorsing,” says Cuevas.
Jacqueline Conoir is available in Vancouver at JC Studio, 46 West
6th Ave. and across Canada at specialty boutiques. Corporate suiting
contracts are available at JC Studio by contacting Noelene Searle (noelene@jcstudio.ca).
